About Sixth Avenue Bistro

Whether it is lunch with friends, happy hour after work, dinner before a show or a relaxing weekend breakfast, Sixth Avenue Bistro has something special to offer for every occasion. Located on the corner of Sixth Avenue and B Street in Downtown San Diego, the Bistro’s bayview windows act as big screen TV’s capturing the hustle and bustle of the Financial District outside. But if it’s a real big screen for the game you need, we have those too!

The Bistro’s menu was designed with 40 years of restaurant experience combining traditional favorites like Fish and Chips with local inventions like the Carne Asada Philly. With a full bar and a draft beer selection that is always being updated for the season, the Bistro is ready to cater to those getting ready for a big night out downtown, or a group of friends looking to relax after a long day’s work. And don’t forget to try one of the Cajun dishes that has won multiple A list awards and has been mentioned in local publications such as the San Diego Reader.

Located near Balboa Theatre, The Civic Center, San Diego Opera, Broadway San Diego, 4th and B, House of Blues, San Diego Symphony Hall, Petco Park, and the Gaslamp Quarter. We are neighbors to our friends in Cortez Hill, Bankers, Hill, Golden Hill, & South Park and next door to The Donut Bar.
